This onsite, long-term locum tenens physician opportunity offers weekday and weekend coverage, rotating call, and an estimated weekly pay of $6,480–$7,670.

Interventional Radiology Job Details

• Position: Interventional Radiologist Physician
• Opportunity Type: Long-term locum tenens assignment
• Location: Glendale, Arizona; onsite coverage at multiple clinical locations in the greater Phoenix area
• Start Date: November 1, 2026
• Duration: Approximately 52 weeks, with potential for continued coverage based on need
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,480–$7,670
• Clinical Schedule: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. weekday and weekend coverage
• Call Schedule: 5:00 p.m.–8:00 a.m. weeknight and weekend call/callback, rotated with the existing interventional radiology practice
• Holiday Coverage: Rotating holiday coverage
• Practice Volume: Approximately 10,238 annual cases
• Productivity Expectation: Minimum of 61 RVUs per shift

Interventional Radiologist Job Requirements

• Completion of an Interventional Radiology fellowship
• ABR certification in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology
• Active physician licensure appropriate for practice in Arizona
• Ability to provide onsite interventional radiology services and general radiology interpretation
• Availability for full-week coverage is preferred
• Experience with Powerscribe 1 or a comparable dictation platform is preferred

Interventional Radiology Physician Responsibilities

• Provide onsite interventional radiology services during scheduled daytime coverage
• Perform and interpret a broad range of image-guided procedures, including biopsies, drain placements, nephrostomies, gastrostomies, embolizations, and IVC filter procedures
• Perform fistulagrams with declot procedures, as well as biliary and venous interventions
• Provide general fluoroscopy coverage and interpretation as needed
• Participate in weeknight, weekend, and rotating holiday call, including callback coverage
• Collaborate with radiology, procedural, and clinical teams to deliver timely, high-quality patient care
• Complete accurate and timely documentation using the designated dictation system
• Meet established clinical productivity expectations while maintaining patient safety and professional standards
