Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8-hour shifts with rotating start times between 7:30 a.m.–8:30 a.m. and end times ranging from 4:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m. | Weekend rotation includes the first Saturday, 7:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m. | No on-call requirement | Block scheduling cannot be accommodated | Up to 2 pre-approved time-off requests permitted per contract

Key Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures for adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting
• Operate 3D mammography equipment and conduct related imaging procedures
• Adhere to radiation safety , isolation precautions/PPE, and universal precautions at all times
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Epic
• Float to a nearby outpatient imaging center as needed for emergency coverage
• Support an average daily census of approximately 15 patients across a 2-room department

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification required
• BLS certification required
• FDA/MQSA qualification required ; MQSA continuing education requirements must be current
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Outpatient mammography experience required
• 3D mammography experience required
• Diagnostic and screening mammogram experience required
• Experience with isolation precautions/PPE, radiation safety, universal precautions, and management/lead protocols required
• Valid state license or certification required at time of submission
• Locals are welcome; local rate differential applies — candidates must reside within 50 miles of the facility to be considered local

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Needle localization and stereotactic biopsy experience preferred
• DEXA experience preferred
• Experience with GE mammography equipment preferred
• Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX experience preferred
