OB Hospitalist / Laborist Physician Opportunity
Compensation: $180-$250 per hour, depending on experience
Shifts: Approximately 12 shifts per month
Practice Type: Women-owned & physician-led private practice

Our organization is on the lookout for a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN physician to become a part of our Laborist team located on the picturesque North Shore of Massachusetts. This role allows you to concentrate solely on inpatient obstetrics and gynecology, offering a stable schedule, competitive pay, and a supportive clinical environment within one of the largest independent women's health practices in the area.
Key Position Highlights- Hourly rate ranging from $180 to $250 based on qualifications
- Approximately 12 shifts each month
- Flexible scheduling with a mix of day and night shifts
- Manage around 2,000 deliveries annually
- No responsibilities related to outpatient office work
- No patient panel management required
- No routine inbox management duties

Our labor and delivery service handles approximately 2,000 births each year, providing a fulfilling mix of routine and complex obstetrical care. Laborists work within a collaborative coverage model that prioritizes both patient safety and physician satisfaction. Physicians will always have access to:
- Dedicated laborist physician coverage
- Certified Nurse Midwife support
- Private attending physician assistance
- One to two additional providers available for backup around the clock
This team-based approach ensures that our physicians are never isolated and can collaborate effectively during routine care, busy periods, and obstetric emergencies.

Qualifications- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts
- Strong skills in obstetrics and surgery
