A 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity is available for a Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacist at a specialized 504 A/B Compounding Pharmacy located in Kennett Square, PA. This role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, quality, and compliance of non-sterile compounded preparations while adhering to established policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify non-sterile compounded medications are accurate, pure, and potent, strictly following master formula worksheets.
• Implement and comply with standard operating procedures (SOPs), cleaning, and garbing policies to maintain patient safety and regulatory compliance.
• Perform precise calculations and maintain thorough documentation for compounded products.
• Operate production and computerized equipment efficiently while monitoring quality standards.
• Apply proper aseptic techniques and maintain a clean work environment prior to production.
• Conduct quality control tests and inspections to confirm preparation accuracy.
• Stay updated on new compounding techniques, formulations, and technologies to support continuous professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist license is required.
• Recent pharmacy experience with a strong background in non-sterile compounding.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations related to compounding pharmacy practices.

Location:

• Kennett Square, PA, with the contract to hire assignment offering Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM shift hours.
