Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Catheterization Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a related specialty required License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Must be able to pass EKG testing before the start date. Previous charge experience preferred. Travel experience required. Cerner experience preferred. Description: The role involves providing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. You will be responsible for monitoring patients' vital signs throughout the procedures. You will assist with central line insertion and cardiac device placements. You will manage and administer procedural sedation. You will perform ECGs and monitor for dysrhythmias. An on-call requirement includes 15 days per month, including weekdays and weekends. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care. You must adhere to infection prevention protocols and safety guidelines. The role may require floating to other units as needed based on patient care needs. Local patients will be prioritized for care. Holiday time-off requests will not be accommodated during busy periods. You will need to maintain certifications and licensure without lapses. You are expected to prepare for and complete all necessary training modules. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for this position.
