Manager - Finance

As a Manager - Finance, you will manage the financial activities and functions for a business segment, region or smaller off system business. You will ensure financial operations are in compliance with governmental rules and regulations. You will oversee the budget process and work with managers to produce and manage effective budgets, as well as act as an advisor to management on regulations and other matters that may impact the financial activities of the company. Responsibilities:Provide support to managers in regard to financial reporting objectives and standardsProvide analytical and financial support to assigned business leaderInterface with business leaders and builds relationships in support of financial planning and performance measurementWork with business to understand strategies, initiatives, priorities, and cost driversEnsure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closeDevelop strategies to support business growth through negotiating new strategic partnerships as well as through growth of core businessPrepare financial reports and performs financial analysisEnsure all budgets and forecasts are accurately entered and reconciled in financial systemsLead financial preparation of forecasts, annual budget, and long- term strategic planPrepare schedules and analysis required for compliance activities including, external audits and quarterly reviews, annual state and local tax packages, and internal auditsLead and motivates staff, promoting a collaborative working environmentQualifications:Bachelors’ Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related required; MBA preferred.Licenses/Certificates/Designations - CPA or CMA preferred7 years required of progressive experience working within relevant finance role or related professional role3 years required of supervisory or leadership experienceProven strategic planning experience at management levelAdvanced in Microsoft ExcelDemonstrated creative and critical thinking skillsAble to work on multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communication and presentation skillsPrior experience anticipating financial and operational issueAbility to travel up to 25%Hybrid Work Schedule: This position is based in Pittsburgh, PA or Glenview, IL and follows a hybrid work schedule with regular in-office attendance required.#LI-RA1This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.
