Candidates should be comfortable building relationships, understanding customers’ needs, and providing the elevated level of service expected at a Cooper Auto Group dealership.This is an outstanding opportunity to build a rewarding career with an established, successful automotive group, offering proven six-figure income potential for high-performing sales professionals.We offer a competitive gross commission pay plan plus unit bonuses and kick start base salary during your structured training period.**Responsibilities*** Identify customer needs, preferences, budget, and vehicle requirements.* Helps customer with vehicle selection and promotes model options and features, value-add products and services, and purchase and finance options following dealership policies* Conducts vehicle test drives and ensures all speed limits and all other rules of the road are followed* Negotiates sale closure in a clear, concise, and highly ethical fashion* Helps facilitate delivery by providing a clear explanation of vehicle and features operation, warranty, and servicing requirements* Maintains accurate sales documentation* Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all vehicles, accessories, financing options, and promotions* Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required* Helps educate/train new staff members* Performs other duties as assigned**Core Competencies:*** Customer Focus — Builds trust and creates a professional, positive buying experience.* Drive for Results — Sets goals, follows through, and maintains consistent activity.* Communication — Communicates clearly and professionally in person, by phone, text, and email.* Coachability — Accepts feedback and applies training to improve performance.* Accountability — Takes ownership of commitments, follow-up, and results.* Relationship Building — Develops long-term customer relationships that generate repeat and referral business.* Resilience — Maintains effort and professionalism despite rejection, changing priorities, or challenging customer situations.* Teamwork — Works effectively with Sales Management, F&I, Service, BDC, and other dealership departments.## Qualifications* Commissioned sales experience (any industry) a plus.
