About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience required License: Must have a valid license Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred Must-Have: - Trauma Level I experience - Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs - Well-rounded OR RN skills, excluding CV and Transplant Description: We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the operating room. Trauma Level I experience is required. The nurse must be able to circulate and scrub in various surgical procedures. Flexibility to float to different specialties is essential, including GYN, ENT, trauma, neuro, ortho, and others. Candidates should be current in most areas of surgical care. On-call shifts are required, ranging from 40 to 60 hours every six weeks. Local candidates are accepted. Temporary licenses are accepted, provided they are obtained before the start date. Candidates must agree to work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Previous charge experience is a plus. The environment is fast-paced with a daily census of 70-80 patients. The shift runs from 07:00 to 15:30, Monday through Friday.
