Hours Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

Classification Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Travel 10%

Essential Job Functions

• Tracking machine shipments from factories.
• Receive, review and process invoices and shipping documents for importation and transportation of machines.
• Act as a liaison for day-to-day tactical execution between logistic centers, carriers, local offices, and customers.
• Ensure operational activity is executed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Communicate effectively with multiple operational levels to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of machinery.
• Interact with coworkers as necessary to ensure on time deliveries and avoid unnecessary costs.
• Utilize company database effectively to optimize efficiency and be as self-sufficient as possible.
• Logging transactions to company systems (SAP, Microsoft CRM etc.).
• Assist to Identify and resolve issues related to machine shipments and deliveries.
• Assist in the identification and execution of process improvement initiatives.
• Assist in processing machine invoices as needed.
• Other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited university.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal reporting, documentation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Proven positive performer with interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's Degree from accredited university.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge.
• Previous experience in logistics and or supply chain is preferred, but not required.
• Manufacturing industry experience preferred but not required.

Work Environment

General office environment will be experienced. There will be occasional exposure to manufacturing environments which may present hazards such as noise, electricity, chemicals, heavy equipment, and other automated and manual machinery.

Physical Demands

8-hour work schedule with overtime as needed. Frequent: sitting at desk, utilizing computers and phones with repetitive hand, wrist, arm, and shoulder movements. Periodic: standing, walking, bending, and stooping. Occasional: lifting, pushing, and pulling.
