Responsibilities Perform functions under the direct supervision of a registered and licensed Ultrasound Technologist. Position patients for ultrasound exams and prepare exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and contrast medications. Provide outstanding customer service skills and be flexible to accommodate volumes. When the Ultrasound student clinical intern is on site and working as an employee of the Diagnostic Imaging Department, the Ultrasound clinical intern must not make any radiation exposures in accordance with the Texas Board of Medical Radiologic Technology. Qualifications Job Requirements: Currently enrolled and in good academic standing in the Amarillo College Sonography Program. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Enrolled in an accredited radiography program with an anticipated completion date as outlined in the radiography program. BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. #J-18808-Ljbffr
