Surgery - General Physician Assistant

- Position: Locums - Surgical First Assist NP/PA
- Start as soon as credentialed and be available for coverage. Must be Board certified.
- Need:
- Documented competency in assisting with general surgery and colonoscopy procedures.
- Successful proctoring and competency validation by the supervising physician or department.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Liability Coverage
- Supporting some Endo/colo cases along with performing minor procedures so experience there is a plus.
- Special procedures to be performed: Demonstrated ability to assist with the two-person colonoscopy technique under direct supervision, with competency established and no further proctored assistance required.
- Shift: Weekday/Monday - Friday
- Patient volume: 20 OR cases per week
- Support Staff: Provider, nurses, techs, CRNA'sBecome an ICON:
