Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location: Florida

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shifts, 4x10 hours (07:30 - 18:00)

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. This role involves assisting in a variety of interventional procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The technologist will work closely with physicians and nursing staff to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with interventional radiology procedures including stents, ablations, angioplasty, and biopsies.
• Operate imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy and biplane systems to capture high-quality images.
• Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs during procedures.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient workflow in the procedure room.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 1 year of experience in interventional radiology required, with vascular experience preferred.
• Current ARRT certification (Radiologic Technology and Vascular Interventional Radiography).
• Must possess a valid Florida state license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
• COVID-19 vaccination required; exemptions accepted for medical or religious reasons.
