Truck Driver CDL A Regional

Class A CDL Truck Driver (Rochester, NY) Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Rochester, NY, offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. Weekly pay average: $1200‑$1500. Daily trip pay: Peddle Run $768.31 per trip. Per diem: $26.52 per night (2 nights per week). Sign‑on bonus: $1 000 at 30 days and $1 000 at 90 days. Paid training. Schedule Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, start 5:00‑6:00 AM. Occasional shuttle runs (Tue, Wed, Sat, Sun 2 pm‑8 pm). Requires flexibility. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards and guidelines. Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs. Load/unload freight or assist as required by customer. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 21 years of age. Pass Ryder drug test, background and motor‑vehicle check, DOT physical, and road test. Provide appropriate Class A CDL and endorsements. Have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle: At least 9 months within the past 3 years, or At least 2 years within the last 5 years, or At least 5 years within the last 10 years. Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions. Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
