Registered Nurse (RN) - Chemo InfusionWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Chemo Infusion unit. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on providing high-quality care to oncology patients.Key Responsibilities:Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed.Provide nursing care to adults over the age of 18 in both hematology and medical oncology.Utilize ambulatory infusion pumps for patient treatment.Maintain patient safety and comfort during infusion therapies.Document patient care accurately in electronic health records.Participate in patient education regarding treatment plans and side effects.Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of oncology-specific experience required.Traveler Experience: First-time travelers are welcome to apply.Must possess current BCLS certification.ONS Chemo/Bio Card is required.Preferred Certification: OCN.Job Details:Patient Care Ratio: 1:5Shift: 8-hour days from 07:45 AM to 05:15 PM40 hours per week available.Contract Length: 13 weeks.Maximum Requested Time Off (RTO): 7 days for auto-offer.Pre-shift COVID-19 screening required.No on-call or weekend requirements.Work Environment:The position involves floating between two clinic locations within 20 minutes of each other. The unit is equipped with 10 infusion chairs to accommodate social distancing, and mixing technicians/pharmacy handle all mixing of medications.Orientation and Equipment:Orientation: 8 hours, with additional hospital orientation in the first week.Scrubs: Navy blue (not provided).All RNs must bring their own stethoscope.Unit Systems:PyxisEpicZoomMicrosoft TeamsClient Details City Matthews State NC
