Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Brigham City, Utah. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor and Delivery Unit Information This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery Unit. The unit has a total of 8 beds and is staffed by 19 personnel. Shift Information Shift: Nights Typical Schedule: 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM Week Structure: 3 shifts one week and 2 shifts the next week Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend Unit Overview Patient Ratios: 2:1 for labor patients, 4:1 for couplets (mother/baby) Equipment Used: Fetal monitors Electronic Medical Record: Meditech, CPN Call Requirements: 1 call shift per week, with potential for 2 on a week with only 2 shifts Qualifications Required Skills Labor and Delivery experience Nursery experience Preferred Skills C-Section experience Typical Procedures Deliveries and recovery Newborn testing (CCHD, Newborn Metabolic Screening, Bilirubin, Hearing Screening) Personality Fit The ideal candidate is hardworking, willing to ask questions, and eager to assist colleagues as needed. Required Certifications ACLS NRP STABLE CEFM or AWHONN fetal monitoring Floating Requirements Occasionally may float as a sitter in the Emergency Department or Medical/Surgical Unit.
