Job Summary St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Team Lead position on a Med Surg unit located at the Edgewood, Kentucky location. Shift & Hours: Nightshift, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am; Full-time, 36 hours weekly. Job Description The Registered Nurse/Team Leader is responsible for providing nursing leadership in an associate management role for an assigned shift. They provide for the care needs of patients utilizing the nursing process either by directly providing the care or by supervising the care on assigned shift. Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary team to facilitate the throughput of patients both in and out of the unit in a timely manner. Demonstrates respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background. Minimum Requirements Education, Credentials, Licenses: Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing. Must have a Compact (multi-state) License in primary state of residence. Licensed to practice nursing in the state where work is performed. Meets contact hour requirements for licensure, including all state-required courses. Specialized Knowledge: Ability to direct self and others. Aware of Nursing standards, policies, procedures and protocols. Knowledgeable of the organization’s mission, vision, values. Demonstrates clinical proficiency. Kind and Length of Experience: One year recent nursing experience in clinical area of specialty. Experience as a shift charge nurse.
