At MidState Medical Center, we are focused on the support of our colleagues. Our Telemetry/Stroke Unit Registered Nurses have the opportunity to practice at the top of their license, using research, innovation and evidence-based practices. We offer our Registered Nurses clinical instruction and additional learning opportunities as you complete your Telemetry/Stroke Unit Nurse Residency. Student nurses and recent graduate nurses are welcome and encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
- Current Connecticut RN License required within 90 days of hire
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- BLS certification by the American Heart Association
- One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred, however Graduate Nurses are encouraged to apply
MidState Medical Center is an acute-care community teaching hospital. We provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, as well as a wide variety of specialties. Staffed by our talented team of leading professionals, MidState Medical Center provides a wide array of services throughout the region, caring for patients from birth through the end of life. Regular Standard Hours Per Week: 36 Schedule: Part-time (2 - 39 hours) Shift Details: Inpatient acute care Graduate Nurse; 1 year residency program; every 3rd weekend rotation; rotating holidays
