Salary Range: $58,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Allendale that are seeking skilled Fabrication Leads. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train fabrication team members, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Plan and coordinate fabrication schedules, prioritizing tasks to meet production deadlines and customer requirements.
• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fabrication equipment, including welders, saws, and presses.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide fabrication processes and ensure accurate product assembly.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures, conducting inspections to verify product conformity and address non-conformances.
• Manage material inventory, including ordering, receiving, and tracking materials to support fabrication operations.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize fabrication processes, improve efficiency, and reduce waste.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the fabrication team, resolving complex issues and ensuring successful project completion.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience in metal fabrication, including welding, forming, and cutting processes.
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to supervise, mentor, and motivate a team.
• Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills, including GD&T.
• Proficient in operating and troubleshooting various fabrication machinery (e.g., press brakes, shears, welders).
• Demonstrated ability to ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or similar continuous improvement training.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop junior fabricators.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) communication skills.
• Forklift certification.
