Infrastructure Automation Engineer - Testing & Release Management

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing and validation frameworks for infrastructure configurations and deployments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Python, pytest, Molecule, Ansible, infrastructure automation, and release management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain automated infrastructure testing and validation frameworks.
• Develop automated test cases using Python and pytest.
• Use Molecule to test and validate Ansible roles and infrastructure configurations.
• Implement release gates and automated quality checks within CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform pre-deployment, post-deployment, integration, and regression testing.
• Design, execute, and validate rollback and recovery exercises.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and validation.
• Validate Linux servers, storage configurations, network connectivity, and system health.
• Integrate automated testing frameworks with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with DevOps, infrastructure, platform engineering, and release management teams.
• Document test results, release criteria, rollback procedures, and validation reports.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Python and pytest.
• Hands-on experience with Molecule and Ansible.
• Experience in infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, release gates, and release management.
• Experience with infrastructure testing, deployment validation, and rollback procedures.
• Good understanding of Linux server administration.
• Knowledge of storage systems, filesystems, mounts, and storage troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, routing, ports, and firewalls.
• Experience with Git and version control.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Docker and Terraform.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
