Details Emergency Department setting 13-week contract assignment Uses Epic for charting Requirements Active MA RN license required (no pending or conditional licenses accepted) Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree preferred 0-1 year of clinical nursing experience required BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required (AHA only) Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients Knowledge of medical terminology and age-specific patient care Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and reaching required Additional Information Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized nursing care for ER patients Administer medications, monitor patient reactions, and document vital signs and condition changes Coordinate with healthcare team members to modify treatment plans as needed Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed Local candidates accepted with permanent residence within 60 miles of Boston, MA, at a reduced rate American Traveler Job ID P-739633.
