Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

job summary:
Our client is looking for a Instrumentation & Controls Engineer in Perry, OH for a 6 month contract assignment where you will support a vital Nuclear Power Plant project. This role requires a US Citizen due to strict regulatory restrictions, along with a relevant Bachelor's degree and 6-10+ years of expertise. You will independently execute complex designs and lead instrumentation engineering deliverables in a collaborative field environment.

responsibilities:

• Lead the production of instrumentation engineering and design deliverables, including Instrument Indexes, DCS/PLC control systems, and Process Control Narratives.

• Apply extensive instrumentation and wiring experience to independently execute, adapt, and modify standard technical design procedures.

• Utilize hands-on field experience to perform complex engineering studies, prepare technical specifications, and evaluate equipment proposals.

• Coordinate diverse tasks and collaborate across plant environments to manage control system components and meet strict project deadlines.
