Talent Acquisition Assistant

We are a growing mechanical & electrical contracting company providing services across the United States, and we're looking for a driven, adaptable team player to join our Talent Acquisition team.

As a Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Assistant, you'll play a key role in shaping every candidate's experience with RSC. From first interaction to final offer, you help create a smooth, organized, and positive hiring journey that reflects who we are as a company.

In this role, you'll partner closely with our internal teams to coordinate interviews, communicate with candidates, and keep the hiring process moving efficiently. You'll be the behind-the-scenes force making sure every detail is handled and every candidate feels informed and valued as they move from applicant to employee.

We're looking for someone who brings a high level of professionalism in every interaction-with candidates, leadership, and cross-functional teams-and takes pride in being a reliable, detail-oriented partner in the hiring process.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Identify and attract qualified candidates through recruitment platforms
• Source, screen, and recruit a diverse pipeline of high-quality candidates, presenting top talent to the hiring managers for selection.
• Full-cycle recruiting including but not limited to:

1. Screen candidates by phone to ensure a strong match for job openings.
2. Schedule, coordinate, and manage interviews between candidates and hiring managers.

• Ensure a smooth and efficient interview process, handling all logistics, including virtual (Zoom and Microsoft Teams) and in-person interviews.
• Ability to work well with Executives, Human Resources and Area Service and Department Managers.
• Collaborate with outsourced hiring agencies to meet recruitment needs and expand the talent pool.
• Track and update candidates within the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring accurate documentation and reporting of recruitment progress.
• Regularly update job requisitions on hiring platforms to ensure accurate listings and timely processing of applications.
• Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion. Maintain accurate records and ensure attention to detail in all administrative tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Work overtime when needed.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and candidates.
• Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with hiring managers, HR, and executives.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain high levels of organization and attention to detail.
• Adhere to company policies and expectations while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
• Remain open to feedback and actively participate in regular one-on-one meetings with leadership.
