Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekend-Only Position – Saturday & Sunday nights plus 1 weekday night shift required | 13-week assignment with potential extension | Holiday coverage required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Level IV NICU setting
• Work exclusively on a weekend-only schedule (Saturday & Sunday) plus one weekday night shift per week
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
• Float to other departments within the facility and to a sister NICU unit, as well as to sister campuses within the local area as needed
• Adhere to all facility compliance requirements, including timely completion of onboarding documentation, lab work, and license verification
• Pass a required medication test; candidates who do not pass on the second attempt may be subject to cancellation

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission — facility will not accept candidates without a license in hand
• Minimum 2 years of recent NICU experience
• Level IV NICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification (AHA only) required
• Recent travel nursing experience required
• Must be willing to work weekends exclusively; candidates unwilling to commit to the weekend-only schedule will not be considered
• RTO dates must be submitted at time of submission; minimal time-off requests expected
• Facility is a nicotine-free campus; candidates will be tested for cotinine/nicotine

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN preferred, though not required
• NRP certification preferred
• First-time travelers considered if resume demonstrates the required skills and experience
