The role involves caring for post open heart surgery and cardiac medical patients, utilizing specialized equipment, and managing complex patient needs within a fast-paced environment.

• Location: Not specified
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, with potential for consecutive weekends to accommodate time off. Floating to ICU, Intermediate Care Unit, Emergency Department, Medical Surgical, telemetry, post-surgical, and ortho neuro units may be required.
• Required Qualifications: Oregon RN License, BLS, ACLS certifications; 1 year of ICU experience, 1 year of CVICU nursing, post heart cath recovery, post-op day 1 open heart surgery patient management, experience with long-term ventilated patients, with swan ganz catheter management, and vasoactive medication titration.
• Additional Information: 12 hours of unit-specific orientation to CVICU. No scheduled call, but optional standby may be required. Floating is to be expected to various hospital departments as needed. A current license to submit is required, and the candidate must be willing to wait for license approval.
