Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shifts | Onsite — Operating hours Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 11:15 PM; expected 40 hours per week (32 hours possible during holiday weeks). Call coverage is required 24/7; travelers are assigned call on average 1–2 times per week plus up to 2 weekends per month. Must reside within a 30-minute radius of the facility to meet call-back requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently circulate a broad range of surgical cases including General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology
• Assist with room turnover and post-case cleaning to maintain efficient OR workflow across 4–6 simultaneously running suites
• Transport patients as needed throughout the perioperative process
• Participate in surgical case scheduling to support daily OR operations
• Utilize facility systems including EPIC , Pyxis , and Provation
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends, with timely call-back response within 30 minutes

Required Qualifications

• Active State of Hawaii Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience independently circulating cases in a hospital-based OR setting
• Must reside within a 30-minute radius of the facility to be eligible for call-back assignments

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Ability to scrub surgical cases in addition to circulating
• Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced OR environment with multiple simultaneous rooms
• Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgical procedures and C-section coverage
