Home Health Caregiver - Rochester Hills

Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM

About CareOne Senior Care

CareOne Senior Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Caregiver to provide in-home care and support to a client in Rochester, Michigan. This is a great opportunity for a caregiver looking for a consistent weekday morning schedule while making a meaningful difference in a client's daily life.

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and engage the client in a supportive manner

• Maintain a safe environment for the client

• Provide gait belt assistance as needed

• Assist with wheelchair mobility and safety

• Check and change briefs as needed

• Provide light housekeeping related to the client's care

• Accompany the client to physical therapy on scheduled therapy days

• Communicate effectively with the client's wife and CareOne Senior Care team regarding the client's needs and care

The client's wife will be present in the home and available to assist as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred

• Experience with gait belt assistance

• Experience assisting clients who use wheelchairs

• Ability to provide personal care, including brief changes

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Dependable, reliable, and punctual

• Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player

• Compassionate and professional approach to client care

Requirements

• Must meet all CareOne Senior Care hiring requirements

• Must successfully pass a criminal background check

• Must have reliable transportation to and from the client's home

• Must be able to consistently work the scheduled Monday–Friday shifts
