SDET Engineer
Virtual Vocations Inc
To ensure the reliability and performance of web platform features, the full-time SDET Engineer will focus on manual and automated testing of UI, APIs, and backend services, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Own and drive quality for web platform features, including UI, APIs, and backend services Design and execute manual test cases and exploratory testing for complex web and API workflows Build and maintain automated test suites, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines for efficient feedback Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in QA/Quality Engineering with a strong focus on web platforms and APIs Proven hands-on experience with manual testing of complex consumer-facing web applications Strong experience building and maintaining API tests using tools such as Postman or REST-assured Hands-on experience with web automation frameworks like Playwright or Cypress
