Job Responsibilities

• Create Customized Treatment Approaches: Assess individual needs and develop tailored therapy strategies aimed at achieving personal functional goals.

• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Partner closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, person-centered care.
• Guide Patients and Families: Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic methods to encourage sustained progress at home.
• Track Patient Progress: Monitor and record clinical outcomes and adapt treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track.

Education Credentials

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.

Licensing and Certification Requirements

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• NBCOT certification required.
