Boston, Massachusetts Physician Assistant Neurological Surgery Locum Tenens Opportunity Inpatient Neurosurgery Coverage • Day Shifts Only • Epic Documentation • Adult Patient Care Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a Massachusetts licensed Physician Assistant for a locum tenens opportunity in a hospital-based inpatient neurosurgery setting in Boston, Massachusetts. This role supports adult inpatient neuro care alongside resident-led planning, with focused patient assessment, order entry, and discharge work. Charting and clinical documentation are completed in Epic. Opportunity Details Coverage: Ongoing EMR/Charting: Epic 3x 13-hour shifts per week Shift hours: 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM No nights No holidays Clinical Scope Join morning rounding with residents to align on the patient plan Review patients and assess those who need to be seen Place orders and manage inpatient care tasks Support discharge processes after rounding and ongoing work Drain management preferred, including removal of Hemovac and JP drains Inpatient neurosurgery care with resident support for procedural/OR assistance APPs provide patient care only and do not enter the OR Requirements Board Certification in Neurosurgery required Minimum 1 year of neurology experience Experience with inpatient neurosurgery Preferred Qualifications Prior inpatient neurosurgery experience including ability to remove Hemovac and JP drains #J-18808-Ljbffr LocumJobsOnline
