• Assignment Duration: 12 weeks (with potential to extend)
• Start Date: August 18, 2026
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,110 - $7,240 (locum tenens pay)
• Shift Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a), including days, nights, and weekends - night shift hospitalist and rotating shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Setting: Inpatient hospitalist program - hospitalist physician, hospital medicine
• Average Census: 16-18 patients per provider per day
• Facility Size: 190 beds

• MD or DO degree with active, unrestricted medical license (physician locum)
• Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (internal medicine hospitalist, family medicine hospitalist)
• At least 1 year of recent hospitalist experience in an inpatient setting
• Current NP or PA certifications will also be considered (NP/PA hospitalist opportunities)
• Ability to provide high-quality, compassionate care to a diverse patient population
• Willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
• Case logs required for credentialing

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care as a hospitalist physician (hospital medicine)
• Manage an average daily census of 16-18 patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (nursing, case management, specialists) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in orientation and shadow shifts as part of onboarding
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EMR (electronic medical records, clinical documentation)
• Work closely with support staff to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
