About the Role:

The Plumbing Service Manager will oversee and coordinate all plumbing service operations to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery across residential and commercial projects. This role is pivotal in managing a team of skilled plumbers, scheduling service calls, and maintaining strong customer relationships to uphold the company’s reputation for excellence. The manager will be responsible for monitoring job progress, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and optimizing resource allocation to meet service deadlines. Additionally, the role involves budgeting, reporting, and continuous process improvement to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Ultimately, the Plumbing Service Manager will drive the success of the plumbing service department by balancing technical expertise, leadership, and customer service excellence.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in plumbing preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and safety regulations applicable in the United States.
• Proven ability to manage teams, schedules, and customer service operations effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification as a Master Plumber or equivalent professional plumbing license.
• Experience with plumbing service management software and inventory control systems.
• Demonstrated success in budgeting, cost control, and process improvement initiatives.
• Strong background in customer relationship management and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operations of the plumbing service team, including scheduling, dispatching, and supervising plumbers and technicians.
• Ensure all plumbing work complies with local codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving service issues promptly.
• Oversee inventory management of plumbing supplies and equipment to ensure availability and cost control.
• Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and generate performance reports for senior management.
• Recruit, train, and mentor plumbing staff to maintain a skilled and motivated workforce.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures to guarantee high standards of workmanship.
• Collaborate with other departments such as sales and procurement to streamline service delivery and customer satisfaction.
