Registered Nurse (RN) - Float Pool

Role Overview The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to a specific patient population using the nursing process. Responsibilities include assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating care effectiveness, all while ensuring cost-effective, high-quality outcomes. The RN actively participates in quality improvement initiatives, ongoing education, orientations, and professional development activities. Qualifications & Skills Must graduate from an accredited nursing program with at least 2 years of related experience, hold a valid RN license (Georgia or multi-state), and maintain current BLS certification. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP are required within six months in select units. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and applicable specialty certifications. Key Duties Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, participate in organizational improvement efforts, contribute to staff education, and uphold professional standards. The role involves working flexible shifts, including every other weekend and holidays.
