Psychiatrist Locums Job New York Hybrid

Position Highlights
Medical Director leadership opportunity
Full-time Monday through Friday schedule starting the week of 10/21 for a 3 month assignment
Hybrid model with a minimum of four onsite days per week
Organization-wide in-office collaboration day each Thursday
Adult and adolescent patient population (ages 13+)
No call responsibilities
Administrative and clinical leadership support
Clinical & Leadership Responsibilities
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management visits
Provide clinical oversight for outpatient mental health and substance use treatment programs
Supervise and support multidisciplinary treatment teams
Collaborate with program leadership on clinical operations and quality initiatives
Participate in treatment planning, team meetings, and high-risk case reviews
Ensure timely documentation and regulatory compliance
Provide medical oversight for HIV and Hepatitis C testing programs
Support integrated behavioral health and preventive care services, including medication-assisted treatment initiatives

Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Child & Adolescent Psychiatry experience or training preferred
Minimum five years of clinical experience treating mental health and substance use disorders
Experience prescribing buprenorphine/Suboxone preferred
Leadership, supervisory, or Medical Director experience preferred
Bilingual Spanish skills a plus
Experience caring for LGBTQ+ populations and underserved communities strongly preferred
