Location: Float Phlebotomist Covering Brooklyn, Queens, Westchester and lower Connecticut Days: Monday to Friday Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm; Monday to Friday and 7:30am - 1:00pm; Saturday and (Day Off TDB) Full-time: Benefits Eligible Hourly Rate: $23.50hr - $25.00/hr Competitive Pay / Travel/Mileage Reimbursement / Great Benefits In this role you will: Obtain blood specimens and collect non-blood specimens such as urine, sputum, and throat swabs for laboratory testing Check the test requisition or computer label to assure correctness and completeness prior to collecting sample Follow all safety, infection control, and OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen guidelines Process specimens to prepare them for laboratory testing Ensure the Patient Service Center is clean, tidy and presentable All you need is: High School Diploma or GED Phlebotomy certification At least 6 months experience, required Reliable transportation and ability to travel to multiple Sunrise locations Excellent customer service skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment Scheduled Weekly Hours:40 Work Shift:Job Category:Laboratory OperationsCompany:Sunrise Medical Laboratories, Inc.
