Customer Service Sales Representative

As a Customer Service Sales Representative, you will support our trade partners, consumers, and internal process partners via phone, chat, email, or other technology for Whirlpool Consumer Services. Daily responsibilities include taking inbound calls, helping consumers resolve issues, providing troubleshooting information, scheduling service, and actively building rapport to promote and sell Extended Service Plans to ensure consumers are fully satisfied. Responsibilities Must be willing to work a 40 hour schedule in center. Our ideal candidate will be available M-F between the hours of 8am - 6pm. We are proud to offer competitive compensation of $16.50 per hour. Our ideal candidate possesses: 

• Previous call center experience, paired with a solid background in sales
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with an aptitude for articulating the value of protection products to consumers
• Ability to type 35 words per minute without mistakes while interacting with customers
• Comfortable working with call center software such as SAP-eCRM, Aspect, or Genesys, and online meeting platforms such as Zoom or Google Suite
• Intermediate computer skills, specifically in a Google environment(Gmail, Sheets, Chat, Forms, etc.) 
• Ability to negotiate through and diffuse escalated consumer interactions by demonstrating soft skills and taking issue ownership
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple computer programs simultaneously across multiple screens

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Customer Service and/or Sales Experience
• Years of experience: 1-2 years
• Experience level: Entry Level
• Ability to pass a drug screen and a background check

• Meet target expectations by selling and delivering on volume against described company objectives
• Promote brands and Extended Service Plans with passion and knowledge, sharing the features and benefits of protection products to help customers find the right fit
• Help consumers resolve issues by providing troubleshooting information, placing consumer-initiated orders, and scheduling service to ensure full satisfaction
• Negotiate through and diffuse escalated consumer interactions by demonstrating soft skills and taking ownership of the issue
• Manage consumer interactions while simultaneously utilizing multiple computer programs and screens, which requires computer setup comprehension
