About the Position

Medicus has partnered with a facility in northeastern North Carolina that has an opening for an Interventional Cardiologist to assist with locum tenens coverage.

Opportunity Overview:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7a-5p, specific dates
• Weeknight call (5p-7a) and weekend call (7a-7a)
• Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
• Duties: Perform PCIs, stent placements, TEEs, and NUCs; interpret echos and stress tests; provide consults and daily rounds
• No STEMI or high-risk cases
• Peripheral experience preferred
• Support Staff: APP
• EMR: Epic
• Must be board-certified
• DEA required
• Paid travel & expenses
