Associate Scientist

Eurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina

Eurofins seeks an Associate Scientist to perform analytical testing on pharmaceutical ingredients and finished products using chromatographic and instrumental methods. The role involves sample preparation, equipment operation, data review, regulatory compliance verification, and documentation in a contract laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

Conduct physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of pharmaceutical ingredients and finished products
Prepare standards and samples; independently operate analytical instrumentation
Execute method transfer protocols and feasibility studies
Review laboratory data for accuracy, clarity, and regulatory compliance
Document procedures, generate reports, and train laboratory personnel

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or related field
Authorization to work in United States without sponsorship
Proficiency with HPLC, Karl Fischer, UV/Spec, and chromatographic systems
Knowledge of GMP and GLP regulatory requirements
Ability to read and follow analytical procedures and SOPs
Experience with pharmaceutical product analysis preferred
