Medical Call Center Representative

Job Description Job Description Urology Associates of Fredericksburg is seeking a dependable and professional Call Center Representative to join our team. This position serves as an important point of contact for our patients, handling incoming calls, assisting with scheduling and patient questions, and helping ensure patients receive courteous, timely and accurate assistance. The ideal candidate is organized, patient focused, and able to communicate effectively in a busy medical office environment. Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound calls in a courteous and efficient manner Provide accurate information regarding medical terminology and office procedures to callers Utilize computer systems for data entry and record-keeping Analyze patient needs and provide appropriate solutions or elevate issues as necessary Maintain a high level of professionalism and phone etiquette during all interactions Assist in the management of patient records and ensure confidentiality is maintained Collaborate with team members to improve patient satisfaction Support multilingual customers by providing assistance in their preferred language when applicable Qualifications Previous experience as a medical office call center representative is REQUIRED Familiarity with medical terminology is highly desirable Strong data entry skills with attention to detail Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patients Proficient computer skills, including experience with EHR software Excellent verbal communication skills Ability to analyze information effectively and make sound decisions based on patient needs Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Company Description Urology Associates of Fredericksburg is a well established private medical practice serving Fredericksburg, VA and surrounding areas.
