Packaging Associate

Packaging Associate SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for Packaging Associates in Pontiac, IL. The Packaging Associate is responsible for packaging finished products, building pallets (skidding), preparing shipments, and supporting production operations in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to quality and safety standards, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining productivity expectations. No experience is necessary and qualified applicants can start immediately! This position will require candidates to be able to work independently and demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving attitude. Pay Rate: $16/HR Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM M-F Responsibilities of the Packaging Associates: Package products according to customer and company specifications. Build, wrap, label, and stage pallets for shipment. Prepare orders for shipping and ensure accurate product counts. Inspect products and packaging to verify quality standards are met. Maintain production quotas and performance expectations throughout the shift. Operate packaging equipment and pallet jacks safely, as required. Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), if applicable. Report product defects, equipment issues, or safety concerns to supervision. Assist with other warehouse and production tasks as assigned. Required Qualifications of the Packaging Associates: Previous warehouse, production, packaging, or manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
