Housekeeping/Laundry AideWork Unit Overview: Housekeeping/Laundry Aide's essential functions help maintain a clean environment for residents and staff in accordance with Madison County policies and Federal regulations. Job Summary: The laundry aide handles, folds, sorts, stores, processes and transports laundry and linen throughout the facility so that sufficient supplies are available to meet the resident's needs. Laundry services are provided in accord with facility policies and procedures and in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations to enhance resident comfort and enhance the quality of life. The housekeeping aide provides cleaning services to provide a safe, sanitary, comfortable and homelike environment for residents, staff and the public.
