Job Description 3M is seeking Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician candidates for Clarkston, Georgia. Compensation and Benefits Starting Rate: $37.83 per hour New hires start with 3 weeks paid vacation Health, vision and dental start day one Employee stock discount 401K Match of 5% Role Overview As a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician, you will perform duties to keep production and auxiliary equipment operational and processes running, troubleshooting with advanced skills in pneumatics, PLC, machinery, hydraulics, welding, and electrical. Responsibilities Perform all duties of a Maintenance Technician to keep production and auxiliary equipment operational. Troubleshoot difficult equipment issues using blueprints, equipment manuals and internet resources. Participate in all safety and regulatory training needed. Follow all plant safety rules and regulations, wear PPE as required. Assure labor time is entered in maintenance work orders along with detailed resolution. Take initiative to resolve issues while receiving little instruction on daily work. Qualifications High School Diploma / GED or higher completed prior to start. Minimum two (2) years of experience as a Skilled Technician. Ability to work on CNC machining centers and supporting equipment. Excellent math skills and complex blueprint reading, drawings, notes, and computer skills. Qualified in the maintenance and repair of pneumatics, PLC, machinery, welding, and electrical. Legal and Compliance Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status). Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subject to U.S. Export Control Laws. 3M must assess employees' U.S. person status as part of compliance with U.S. Government Contract requirements.
