Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of Med Surg patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Collect relevant data, analyze assessments, and identify diagnoses and care needs.
- Develop and implement a plan of care with interventions to achieve outcomes; monitor progress and adjust as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor responses, document accurately, and ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team; participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Delegate appropriately and coordinate duties of healthcare team members while maintaining a safe and healing environment.
- Provide education to patients, families, and the healthcare team; participate in rounds and care conferences.

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California) or per state of assignment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care Med Surg experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced hospital setting
