MLOps Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an MLOps Engineer for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable backend systems, supporting machine learning operations, and ensuring secure, high-performance application deployment.

Rate Range: $56/hour to $58/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


MLOps Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Build and support distributed, event-driven architectures leveraging tools like Kafka and caching frameworks.
• Manage and optimize cloud-based deployments using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features and support multiple concurrent projects.
• Ensure application security, performance, and reliability through monitoring, debugging, and optimization.
• Contribute to front-end integration using modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Vue) and support UI responsiveness and usability.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in backend development or MLOps-related roles.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, distributed systems, and REST API development with experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Proven experience in CI/CD pipelines, event-driven architectures, and ability to manage scalable, secure applications with strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $58.00 per hour
