High-Speed Imaging Photographer (Defense, Secret Clearance)

Photographer Location: U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground, Utah Responsibilities Use high-speed camera systems, tracking telescope systems, and video systems. Utilize math and experience in operating tracking telescopes, video systems, and fixed cameras to obtain data measurements and perform optical data reduction. Use digital processing (motion/still), printing, still photography, videography and digital imaging techniques. Other duties as assigned. Work Conditions Work is performed in an indoor industrial setting but field work outdoors under changing weather conditions may be required depending on the location of equipment. May be required to lift and handle heavy items (50 lbs.). May need to move equipment, scaffolding, and other items for photo shoots. Stand/walk, climb, stoop, bend and push and pull for extended periods of time. Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks that require such protective gear. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent. Must have formal training on high-speed camera systems, tracking telescope systems, and video systems. Possess a good working knowledge of math to operate tracking telescopes, video systems, fixed cameras to obtain data measurements and perform optical data reduction. Must have experience in digital processing (motion/still), printing, still photography, videography and digital imaging techniques. A commitment to maintaining a productive and collaborative working environment. Current Driver’s License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment. U.S. Citizenship required and you must have a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to hire date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical, as well as periodic retests. All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver’s Record, and a Criminal Background Investigation.
