As a CNC Machinist, you'll set up, operate, and adjust CNC mills and lathes using conversational programming while producing high-precision components that meet strict quality and engineering standards.Job DescriptionCNC Machine Setup — Set up and run CNC mills/lathes using conversational programming to produce high-quality partsProgram Adjustments — Edit programs and make real-time adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiencyBlueprint Interpretation — Read technical drawings to determine tooling, fixtures, and machining parametersFirst-Article Verification — Inspect initial parts and adjust setups to ensure conformanceIn-Process Inspections — Measure workpieces throughout production using calipers, micrometers, and gaugesDocumentation — Complete production, quality, and compliance documentation accuratelyPreventative Maintenance — Perform and record maintenance on CNC machines and related equipmentDeburring — Deburr machined parts to meet quality and safety standardsShipping Support — Assist with packaging, shipping, and receiving as neededJob Description1+ years experience operating CNC machinesExperience setting up mills/lathes with conversational programmingBlueprint Reading Skills — Ability to interpret technical drawings and machining requirementsMachine Setup Proficiency — Skilled in selecting tooling, fixtures, and machining parametersInspection Expertise — Comfortable using calipers, micrometers, and gaugesAttention to Detail — Commitment to producing accurate, high-quality componentsWork Environment & ScheduleProduction machining environment with CNC mills, lathes, precision inspection tools, and standard shop equipmentFirst Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.Weekend Shift: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. (15% shift differential)Safety-focused, quality-driven, and highly collaborative environment supporting complex, high-precision projectsJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Thornton, CO.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $34.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
