Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist to join a well-established outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Dayton, Ohio. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary orthopedic environment that emphasizes evidence-based care, patient outcomes, and professional growth.

The Physical Therapist will have access to established referral sources, comprehensive patient records, and interdisciplinary collaboration, allowing a strong focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Position Summary

The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing efficient and effective physical therapy services through individualized evaluation and treatment programs. Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment planning, implementation of therapeutic interventions, patient and family education, development of home exercise programs, and ongoing communication to support functional recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered physical therapy services in accordance with professional standards of practice
• Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional performance
• Educate patients and families regarding conditions, treatment plans, and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation using electronic medical records (EMR)
• Ensure compliance with all clinical, regulatory, and documentation standards
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Demonstrate strong organizational, prioritization, and clinical decision-making skills
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional clinical image

Work Schedule & Environment

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, day shift
• Setting: Outpatient orthopedic clinic
• Patient Volume: Approximately 11-12 patients per 8-hour day
• Patient Population: Youth athletes through active geriatric patients
• On-Call / Nights / Weekends: None

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current, active, and unrestricted Physical Therapist license
• Candidates with active or pending licensure, including those scheduled to sit for licensure boards within the next six months, are encouraged to apply
• New graduates are welcome
