Ensemble Schools is seeking a fun and nurturing music educator who is experienced in teaching early childhood music to teach part-time at Riverdale Music Academy , in Riverdale, New Jersey. We are looking for instructors who will teach IN PERSON.
Teachers must be available for a minimum of two 4-hour teaching blocks on a weekly basis . The available teaching blocks are Monday through Friday from 3:15pm-7:45pm .
Teacher will be teaching one-on-one lessons to students ages 4-7 years old. Lesson runtime is 30 minutes.
Both students and school staff appreciate consistency, and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.
Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in Music Education or Music Performance and a demonstrated love of teaching. Experience working with children ages 5-7 years old, and the ability to pass a routine background check are a must. Proficient piano and guitar skills are helpful but not required.
Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $30-37/hour.
