Ability to function independently in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Verifiable references from previous experience.


Description:
Candidates applying for this position must have a minimum of 3 years of recent full-time experience as a Perioperative Care Center RN in a high-volume hospital setting.
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the preoperative and postoperative phases of patient care.
The Pre-Surgery RN provides care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Responsibilities include preparing patients for operative and procedural areas including surgery, cath lab, endoscopy, and special procedures.
The role involves ensuring effective discharge planning for outpatients.
Candidates with less experience or requiring extensive onboarding will not be considered.
The schedule for this contract is Monday through Friday, with shifts from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
Candidates will not participate in call, weekends, or holidays.
The unit cares for an average of 70-90 patients daily during the week.
Patient procedures range from ambulatory surgical/invasive procedures to complex surgical and other types of procedures.
Types of procedures include complex cardiovascular, orthopedic, spine, and robotic procedures.
