As a Armed Security Officer Elite Patrol Unit in Plano, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere for shoppers and staff. This role combines active patrol, strong communication, and customer service while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting local law enforcement or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and/or perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and document unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or restricted spaces for unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations, and report findings according to site procedures.
• Assist with de-escalation, crowd management, and/or incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence and supporting daily retail operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
