Nurse Practitioner - Family Practice

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment in New York. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. This role involves managing chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and COPD, as well as performing sick and well visits, physicals, vaccinations, and some women's health services including pap smears.

Responsibilities and Duties

Manage chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and COPD
Conduct sick and well visits
Perform physical examinations
Administer vaccinations
Provide women's health services, including pap smears

Additional Information

EMR: Athenahealth
Outpatient clinic setting
Patient volume: 14-20 patients per day
LOA: 60 Days
Staffing Mix: 2 Family Practice Physicians, APPs, and medical assistant support
